dana and i went to work out again today... 25 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the sit-down stepper, 10 minutes on the bike... maybe 1 minute on the elliptical (that thing kicks my ass, but dana did like ten minutes)... and while she did the elliptical i went back and did 5 more minutes on the treadmill at a faster pace... i think we *may* have overdone it slightly, but the idea is to a) do what we can and b) to push ourselves to do what we can... because of my school schedule, our gym schedule is 4 days in a row, which sucks... to switch things up on monday we might do the hour-long water aerobics class instead of our regular routine on the machines... either way, i'm going swimming monday. whooooooohoooo!
and for those keeping track, day 3 of the detox went swell... i didn't eat much, though i got up late, so i lost out on a lot of "eating hours". lol. had an apple, 2 plums and then went for dinner at a thai place where they steamed me some veggies (broccoli, carrots, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, pea pods) and raw tofu... it was good, but i think next time i'd ask them to add a smidge of garlic...
Friday will be my last day of detox and then i'm hoping to transition into a more normal eating pattern (probably the WW counting points plan)... we'll see... one day at a time...
