sigh
the other day bingo and i got into an hours-long debate about religion. he answered a question i posed to him with such a ludicrous answer that i began to wonder just who the hell this person was i was intending to marry. lol. ok, so it wasn't quite so dramatic, but really, his answer to my question was so out of left field that it got me trying to understand his point of view a little more. to that end, he suggested i pick up this book. so i did. then bingo gave me a bible as a companion to my C.S. Lewis book. and then i felt overwhelmed by the entire process. i'm bringing the book with me on my trip, but i don't know that i'll be able to get through it, much less absorb its content. i think my religious starting point is just so far away from where any discussion on religion begins that at times it seems fruitless to even think about it. whatever. 27ish hours and i'll be on the road. hip hip hooray!

so what was the question you asked him? Is there really a God?
ughhh i refuse to engage in discussions about religion. it's only going to get worse after my weekend at kripalu, too.
at least we're not wiccans!
