blah.

couldn't get into my doctor so i found a walk-in clinic i could march myself into after work. my throat was bothering me enough to pay a visit, so i sucked it up and went... the clinic was decent. short wait, couldn't complain about that anyway... doctor told me its not strep, because strep is on both sides. could be tonsilitis or an abcess, but isn't. so we'll swab your throat, put it in a petri dish and see what grows. OF COURSE there is absolutely nothing wrong with me. because i spent 25 bucks to go to the stupid doctors office. they'll call me ina few days and inevitably tell me my throat culture came back unusually normal and it all must be in my head. the pus on my tonsil, apparently an indication of nothing? whatever.

talked to my professor and got an extra 15 points on my exam. this is good. i deserved them the first go around but apparently the TA who graded the exam was too busy sniffing glue to actually look at my exam. whatever. 15 more points is very very good.

on the way to class i bought lemon juice which means at some point in the near future, there will be vegan mac and cheese in my fridge. holla!
