I'll either go with the Blackberry 7290 with cingular service
or the t-mobile sidekick 3.
What do I want it for? E-mail and internet. In my pocket.
Does anyone use either of these and if so, can i have your thoughts? I'm having a doozy of a time deciding... the pricing is similar, although the sidekick 3 would be slightly cheaper over the 2 years of functionality that i anticipate...

well i don't have either one BUT i do have the Cingular 8125 PocketPC and I love it! The only thing I DON'T like is the way the keyboard slides out from under the screen which is kind of what the sidekick does. I found that after sliding it so many times to text on the keyboard, it's lost it's resistance and now it very easily moves to the side when I am on the phone or if i just pick it up to grab it. Having the keyboard exposed on the top of the phone might eliminate the problem I am having with mine. But i love having the internet at my fingertips at all hours of the day. If i am somewhere with WiFi i can set my phone to it and have high speed interent at my fingertips... LOVE IT! I love texting on a keyboard. It took a minute to get used to typing with my thumbs but now I am super quick. I say go with Option 1....

I'm thinking your dad isn't going to be too happy that you bought a new gadget with that money, as opposed to the other thing you told me you were going to purchase with it...That thing I didn't purchase for you for your birthday because you said you were already getting it....What's his email address?
I think you should go with the ORIGINAL option myself, for what it's worth.
