I was flabbergasted when I saw that this Hamtramck school was so proud of having made adequate progress that they had a giant banner made to hang above the door... Shooting for greatness...
It's too bad Hayden was so grumpy when I came over to visit midweek. I mean, just look at that scowl!
The real reason i visit Autumn and Hayden during the week is because Autumn always makes me gourmet vegan dinners... This week we had veggie burgers (with soy cheese, veganaise, romaine and sauteed mushrooms) and a side of strawberries. Can you taste the love?
After dinner and a refreshing peach fresca, we moved into the lush tropics of the backyard, where Hayden went to work putting out fires in his vintage fire truck. You can't tell, but he's making a very authentic fire hose sound...
He's the son of 2 artists, you know... it will be days before he gets his first show, I'm sure...
In his spare time, he's also dabbling in running his own vineyard... part of the fun is ripping the leaves off the vines and waving them at guests...
