just me n the dub
after a father's day breakfast with my dad (i gave him a framed picture of the family, in nick's garden - he loved it) i took the dub to the doggy park. The last few times we've been there dublin has been glued to my side and heaven forbid if another dog came within 5 feet of him... but this time, he was right up in every other dog's face, sniffing doggy crotches (he declared it a total sausage fest) and drinking just a taste out of every dog's water dish, because, hey, you never know when one of those dishes will be filled with sprite. he did a fair bit of running and playing and sure as heck didnt worry about whether or not he could see me (ok, he actually did come over every few minutes to make sure i was still there) and when he'd had enough he laid down on the becnh next to me and stared until i asked if he was ready to go... all in all, i'd say it was a total success... i've got one pooped puppy (which is the whole point of the doggy park) and i got to spend some time enjoying the weather before it started to thunder and pour...
