Tonight when I was at the bookstore, I met someone new. His name is Mark. He's at the bookstore just about everytime I go. literally, 9 out of every 10 times i go, he's there. He's a tutor and he uses Borders at his office. Anyway, he introduced himself today (and, honest, i've been meaning to introduce myself to him, but i'm a dork and socially awkward so i never did). Anyway, he seems pleasant enough and seems to have a sense of humor (and loves to tutor calculus) so i might just use him for some tutoring in the fall semester...
speaking of school, guess who finished the spring semester with a 3.7? oh, me, yeah, that's right. Only one class, but whatever, i finished with a 91.5% and yes, the .5% matters, thankyouverymuch. Comments from my professor: "You are a good writer. Keep reading and confronting issues... I like your critical spirit and directness. Have a wonderful and productive summer."
I bought a meditation dvd and tried to go through it tonight... it's relaxing while i'm doing it, but i seem to lose all the relaxation the minute i'm done. i'll try to stick with it and see if it helsp in the long run...

i knew he was a tutor... it's the *other stuff* that i'm not sure about... but now that we're best friends, i can ask him all about the other stuff he does... lol
